Although COVID-19 is new, we are not new in protecting ourselves, our patients, and our community from infectious disease. We look forward to having the opportunity to continue serving our community in the midst of the COVID-19 threat. Here are some things we have done to ensure we can provide uninterrupted care to you and your family. One Urgent Care is offering Covid testing on site with treatment recommended by the CDC and under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the U.S. FDA.
Paxlovid is prescribed to patients within 5 days of symptom onset. To be eligible to receive treatment for covid-19 you must be identified by a health care provider as a High Risk Individual.
Criteria for Identifying High Risk Individuals
The following medical conditions or other factors may place patients at higher risk for progression to severe COVID-19:
- Older age (for example, age ≥ 65 years of age)
- Obesity or being overweight (for example, BMI >25 kg/m2 , or if age 12-17, have BMI ≥ 85th percentile for their age and gender based on CDC growth charts
- Pregnancy
- Chronic kidney disease
- Diabetes
- Immunosuppressive disease or immunosuppressive treatment
- Cardiovascular disease (including congenital heart disease) or hypertension
- Chronic lung diseases (for example, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma [moderate-to-severe], interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension)
- Sickle cell disease
- Neurodevelopmental disorders (for example, cerebral palsy) or other conditions that confer medical complexity (for example, genetic or metabolic syndromes and severe congenital anomalies)
- Having a medical-related technological dependence (for example, tracheostomy, gastrostomy, or positive pressure ventilation (not related to COVID-19)
X-ray on site
If you are in need of an x-ray, visit One Urgent Care is fully equipped with a digital x-ray machine, which means quick results. We will get you in and out as quickly as possible. X-Rays can be done for a variety of reasons including: back pain, chest congestion, ankle injuries, arm injuries, and many more. This includes sports injuries as well as on the job injuries.

One Urgent Care also offers a full stock of durable medical equipment, in case you are found to have an injury or a fracture. This includes crutches, walking boots, wrist splints, knee braces, ankle braces and many more. Having this equipment in the clinic helps you avoid yet another stop to fixing your injury.
If referred to an outside specialist for a more complex injury, we will be providing the patient a cd with more detailed information regarding the x-ray. Our staff can also assist with making appointments with specialist, to provide you with the best care possible.
